Game Booster is capable of delivering the best gaming experience to you even if you have an old PC. One-click to boost PC performance is not enough, Game Booster 3 also allows you to tweak your system for top PC performance
Game Booster can easily and fast close background processes and unnecessary Windows services, to speed up your game playing and avoid possible conflicts and incompatibilityGame Booster is a small utility designed to give a boost to older computers by performing some system tweaking. The adjustment implies data defragmentation and dealing with background programs and Windows services. Some non-essential Windows services like Application layer gateway, Automatic updates, and so on can be temporary turned off, allowing games to use more resources. Game Booster scans these services and offers suggestions based on the ones turned on. The services list can be edited by advanced users from the Options menu, in order to add/remove some of them.

The Game Defrag feature allows users to choose an installed program that requires defragmentation. Because the information is not written continuously on a hard disk, a file can be divided in parts written in different disk sectors. Putting these parts together makes information transfer faster. In case the required program is not found on the list, there is also an option to browse for it. There is also a link to another IObit product, Smart Defrag, for those willing to defragment the whole hard disk.

Another option the program offers is to close background applications - those like, for example, messengers, real-time antivirus scanning, and so on.

Game Booster is translated into 37 languages, and users can discuss their opinions about it on the developer's forum.
